Obituary for Wilbert R. Meyer

Meyer, Wilbert passed away on April 13, 2016 at the age of 97. He is reunited with his beloved wife, Mary June. Loving father to Quentin “Butch” and Becky (Jim) Lamoureaux. Proud grandpa to Marni (Rob) Lemberger, Ross (Jenne), Shanna (Jack) Magee, Jacy (Mike) Ynza, Brett, David, and Jill. Great-grandpa to Lexi, Kylie, Weston, Gavin, and Scarlett. Father-in-law to Tia. He is preceded in death by his son, Jeff. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church (900 Michigan Ave. South Milwaukee) on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 9:00AM-10:30AM. Funeral service at the church at 10:30AM. Private interment.

Wilbert founded 3 generations of Meyer Decorating in 1945. He loved golfing, bowling, and was excellent at horseshoes. He was devout in his Christian beliefs.
