Lillian J. Repa (nee Jurci) passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 21, 2020 at the age of 91 years. She is reunited with her beloved husband, Henry. Loving mother of the late Judy (Michael) Safranski, Guy (Susan), Timothy (Joyce), Jill, Michael, and Jennifer (Bill) Wesley. Incredibly proud grandmother of Emily, Dina, Doolan, the late Natalie, Mallory, and Audrey. Great-grandmother of Luke and Lauren. Further survived by her brother, Robert; other relatives and friends.

Private services were held.

Our Mom, Lillian had a truly unique style and personality. She married her high school sweetheart, Hank and enjoyed 50 wonderful years with him.

While doing a superior job of raising six kids, she and Henry ventured into the tavern business. With Dad’s keen business sense and Mom’s people-pleasing personality, they enjoyed amazing success at Repa’s On Oakwood.
Lill was a bundle of energy, but never too busy to give full attention to her children. She always made you feel better. An awesome cook, her stuffed peppers were a family favorite. As radiant and glowing as she was, she never wanted the spotlight on her.

She displayed unparalleled generosity. She quietly tipped at restaurants like a movie star would. Lillian’s favorite activity was having everyone over as often as possible and simply looking out over the crowd, satisfied. Her focus was her family.
She never complained about anything. Never. Anyone who ever met her knows that.

Anybody: “How ya doing Lill?” Lillian: “Super-Duper.” Every single time.
There aren’t enough words to express how deeply she will be missed.

Our family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Aurora At Home Hospice Services, especially Aide Alinas Matuszewski and Nurse Carol Gumm.

Dear Family,
What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful woman. Though I have not seen my cousin Lil since moving away from the area almost 50 years ago, I will never forget her. My mom Anne was the youngest sister of Susan Jurci. I have great memories of visiting with Lil as a child and through young adult years. It was always a delight as she always had a smile and made you feel your visit delighted her as well. May you feel her enduring love for you until you meet again.

This is cousin Ellen (Buchholz) Kovac. Lill was always so kind and cheery. And so talented! I remember she could sew really well, and made a beautiful jacket from a used coat I had. She was the kind of person I loved to be around. One of God’s choicest spirits. Although we’ve lost touch over the years, dear family, you all still all mean a lot to me. I will try to mail to the only address I have for Guy, and for Jenny, my heart goes out to all of you. I feel blessed to have known my dear “Aunt” Lill. ❤️

Raggedy Ann sits in our foyer on the piano bench from Mom & Dad's house...a childhood treasure you made for me. Annual summer picnics at South Shore Park. Your mailing "duties" with Mom and our newsletter with our catered dinners. Bus trip to the Horse Races and back to Oakwood for your catered meal. Lots of gambling trips from Green Bay to Nevada and south to Mississippi. You will be able to tell Kenny Rogers the luck he brought you now that you are on the same plane. Hope your Kids have your recipes....and they appreciate the many wonderful memories you have left them for lifetime. Sorry we are not the picture taking family members and have none to share.
