Age 83, passed away November 26, 2018. He is preceded in death by parents, John and Anna; his wife of 55 years, Joyce; his closest brother, Fritz; other family members and friends. Larry is survived by his sister, Marie; sister-in-law, Margie; loving son, Rick; doting daughter, Sharon; grandsons Jason and Jeffrey (Ayin); great-grandchildren, Ethan and Farrah; former daughter-in-law, Nancy; nieces and nephews; best neighbors ever, Scott Sekach & his daughter, Kylee.
Larry was the youngest of 10 children born and raised in St. Francis, WI. He attended Sacred Heart grade school and was a graduate of Boys Tech. Larry retired as a machine shop foreman from Stearns Brakes & Clutches (now Rexnord Stearns) after 35 years on the job. His 22 years of retirement were spent hunting, fishing, gardening, bicycling, bowling, traveling with the family, playing cards with his Sheepshead buddies; and, spending time in MN and at his cabin in northern WI. His proudest moment came at age 75 when he bowled his first and only 300 game. He was thrilled to have joined the "300 Club" after so many years of bowling!
Larry was a quiet, humble man, a nice guy with a fun sense of humor. He lived within his means so that he could give generously to his family believing that, "it was better to give with a warm hand than a cold one." Pops, you will be missed every day and loved forever.
