Born G. Jacomini December 11,1932. “Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.” Passed away surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren on May 11, 2018. Preceded in death by the love of his life for 61 years, Joyce. Survived by his loving children: Darenda (Ken) Sletto, Janice (Aleksandar) Burojevich, Scott (Laurel), and Darren (Sharon). Proud grandfather of: Courtney (Mark) Budde, Adam Sletto, Kristin (Chris Greer), Ethan, Erica, and Jacob. Sweetest Papa of great-grandchildren: Taylor Sletto, Mya Greer, Dominic Greer, Leah Budde, and Adeline Budde-all of whom brought him such joy and happiness. Sonny to his California family, is also survived by his brother, Henry (Barbara); sister Edna (the late Gary) Jones; and many other relatives; and countless friends. Preceded in death by sisters, Mary Calanchini and Rosemarie Calanchini, and brother, Lawrence Jacomini.

After proudly serving 20 great years in the U.S. Air Force, Jerry found his place at the Milwaukee Mile, turning his hobby into a working passion in the world of racing as Track Supervisor and the many jobs that entailed.

Shout out to his beloved Chicago Cubbies. Thanks for winning the big one!

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Molthen-Bell Funeral Home from 11:00AM-1:00PM. Military honors and service will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery (21731 Spring St., Union Grove) on Wednesday at 2:00PM.
