Obituary for Arnold J Nowinski

Born into Eternal Life Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 89 years. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Estelle Nowinski, sister Esther, daughter Gayle Watler, grandson John Sobocinski. He is survived by his daughter Laura (Pat) Sobocinski, son Joseph and sister Arlene (the late George) Kaiser. Special grandpa to Andrea (James), Elizabeth, Joseph (Kristen), Sarah (Johnny), Carly (Justin) and Alexandra (Tim). Proud great-grandpa of Autumn, Alex and Maggie Sobocinski, Michael and Johnathan Norberg, Sawyer and Quinn Forehand. Uncle to Chuck, Jean, Paul, Andy, Carol and Lisa Kaiser.

Arnie was a member of the American Legion Post 27, AMVETS Post 4, CWV Post 672, Last Commander of the John Kobus Post, First Commander of Kobus-Molenda Post 49. He graduated from St. Adalbert in 1942 and South Milwaukee High School in 1946. He served in the Korean War in the Air Force from 1950 to 1953. He went to Dunwoodie Baking School in 1955. He was an alter boy and an usher at St. Adalbert. His proudest accomplishment was making the best Sunday Roll and Poppyseed Horns in the State of Wisconsin. I like to think our dad is now with all his family and friends enjoying his new life. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, March 25 from 9:30 to 11 AM with a service to follow at 11 AM. Private interment.
