Hank attended South Milwaukee Schools until choosing to serve his country in WWII as a member of the United States Navy. After active duty, he was a member of the Naval Reserve and began a 43 year career at Bucyrus-Erie. In retirement, he established a new home in DePere and worked in security at Austin Straubel Airport. He was a favorite of many Green Bay Packer players and coaches who passed by with a favorite joke or friendly greeting. Hank took pride in his home, his yard and his family.
Henry and Ruth enjoyed years of travel together. Their adventures took them to Hawaii, Alaska, Ireland, extensively throughout Europe but their favorite and most memorable trip was with Bishop Banks to Italy and the visit to the Vatican.

Member of St. Francis Xavier Parish, DePere, and lifetime member of Divine Mercy Parish (formerly St. Adalbert, South Milwaukee.) Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3 from 9 a.m until 11 a.m. followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Divine Mercy Parish, 800 Marquette Ave., South Milwaukee. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Jack and Engrid Meng Unity Hospice Residence.
