Stephen P  Markiewicz
Stephen P Markiewicz passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the age of 93. Preceded in death by his wife Helen, son-in-law Donald Newbold and his two sisters and two brothers. Loving father to Angela Newbold. Grandpa to Todd (Carrie) Newbold, Kim (Brian) Gerberding, Lt Col Brian (Theresa) Newbold and Grant Newbold. Further survived by 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was a member of VFW Post 434 of Oak Creek and choir member and Holy name society at St. Adalbert Parish. He worked on the committee for Polish Liturgy at Polish Fest. Stephen also served in the Army during World War II attaining the rank of Tec 4 and serving in the battles and campaigns of Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe. Visitation on Thursday, June 2 (tomorrow) at St Mary's by the Lake (7605 Lakeshore Dr, Caledonia) from 9:30 to 11 am with Mass to follow. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice.
