Who was Monica?

I got to know Monica over the past couple of years.  She was thoughtful, kind, compationate and turned tough times into hilarious stories. Her bubbly personality and big smile are unforgettable.

She loved to be outdoors taking care of her plants and appreciating nature.  There was a cat that frequently appeared across the street.  It would inch closer until it eventually would make its way down Monica's driveway.  I'm sure the day would have come that that cat would have allowed Monica to pet it.

Monica always showed concern for others.  My In-Laws for instance -- she called me during a snowstorm to let me know the show was covering their gas outlet, let us know when wind took several shingles off their roof, when the rain gutter disconnected from the downspout and when my Father-In-Law couldn't return his garbage carts to the back yard, she made sure it was done.

Monica was sentimental.  She often mentioned her father and would make sure she was by the phone iif she was expecting a family member to call.

Monica was a friend.  I will miss her!
