Kasper, Betty Ray

(née Turner), born July 27, 1931 in Culpeper, VA passed away after a very long illness September 7, 2016 in South Milwaukee, WI. Loving Mother of Tom Kasper (Lynn) and Kathie Kasper Sullivan (Brian). Further survived by her brother-in-law, Festus (Junie) Hudson, Jr. Of Etlan, VA, nephew Chip (Karen) Hudson of Rixeyville, VA., Step-sister Zeta (Zippy) Estes of Fredericksville, VA along with many other cousins, family and friends. Preceded in death by her beloved Father, Raymond Shaw Turner and her Aunt Della Turner, who raised both Betty and her younger sister Audrey Turner Hudson. Audrey recently passed away June 26, 2016. Betty dearly loved her Virginia family and would travel there yearly until her body and arthritis no longer allowed it.

Betty retired from Bucyrus-Erie after 34 years of service as a paralegal in 1993. She had a passion for BINGO while she was still healthy and loved her yearly trips to Las Vegas with her friend Pat. Special thanks go out to hospice RN Laura, hospice aide Sam and the entire caring team from Allay Hospice who are all truly a gift from God. In addition, thank you to the caregivers at Willowcrest Care Center (especially Frances) who truly loved our Mom and took care of her the best they could over the past five years. Thank you Pastor Wendee Nitz for being a Godsend to Us these past few days. Visitation and Funeral services will be held at Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church 8675 South 13th Street, Oak Creek, WI on Thursday, September 15, 2016. Visitation from 4:00-5:00 PM with service to follow. Betty will be buried with her Father Raymond and near her Aunt Della with a graveside service at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper, VA later this month. In lieu of flowers (Mom never liked flowers), please give the gift of your time with someone you love.
