Virginia Zimmerman

Virginia J. Zimmerman "Gin" Born: Virginia Jean Schlichting, on October 3, 1924, Virginia was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was reunited with her beloved husband, Ralph "Zimmy" and son, Charlie on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Left to share in her memories are her sons: Ron and Don; grandchildren Jestine, Immanuel, Arron and Justin; five great-grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends. Our deepest gratitude to the family and friends that continued to visit her so regularly over the last 7 years, and to the staffs of both Franciscan Villa and Vitas Hospice for their gentle care. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 9:30 – 11:00am in the chapel at Franciscan Villa - 3601 S. Chicago Avenue in South Milwaukee, with interment ceremony to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park - 3301 E. Forest Hill Avenue in Oak Creek at 11:30am. Gin and her beloved husband Zimmy are finally back together forever, "Out beyond the Moon!"
