Velita Checky

Passed away peacefully on October 29, 2022 at the age of 88. Loving wife to the late Kenneth Checky. Dear mother to Michael Checky, Debra (Gerald) Dillig, David (Susan) Checky and Susan Gagnon. Beloved grandmother to Joshua (Chelsie), Jennifer (Justin), Josiah (Danielle), Andrew (Eloisa), Melissa (Nick), Daniel, Jason, Cheyann, Savanna, Angie, Aaron and Hope (Raymon). Great-grandmother to Andrew, Kobe, Alison, Belle, Aria, Abigail, Asher, Charlotte, Owen, Emery and Mateo. Also survived by her brother Kenneth (Margaret) Consie and nephew Keith (Barbara) Hiatt. Further survived by brother-in-law Jerry Hiatt, other relatives and friends. Visitation at Zion Lutheran Church (3600 S Chicago Ave, South Milwaukee) on Tuesday, November 8 from 10 to 11 AM. Funeral service at 11 AM. Interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on November 15 at 10 AM.
