Sylvia Lacher

(nee Gaida) Passed away on October 17, 2016, age 89. Loving mother of Sandra Lacher, Linda (Kevin) Pollock, Mary (Doug) Lewandowski, Doreen (Rodney) Nichols. Beloved grandmother of Michele Priebe, Walter Priebe, Michael (Nikole) Dumas, Kirsten Dumas, Kevin Lewandowski, Shawn (Suzy) Nichols, Ryan Nichols. Great-grandmother of Alexis, Jon, Isabel Priebe; Trevor Partain (Dumas), Brooklynn, Allyson Dumas; Chace Lewandowski; and Danny, Andrew Nichols, Tab Daniels (Nichols). Also survived by her sisters Irene Sobieski, Violet Brink, Dorothy Sobieski, Helen (Gene) Rudoll. Further survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sister Margaret Nally, brother Willard (Jane) Gaida, grandson DJ Lewandowski. Sylvia worked for A/C Delco for 37 years and finally retired in 2001 at the age of 74. She enjoyed taking care of her home, flowers, garden, and being around her grand kids and great-grand kids. Visitation on Monday, October 24 at the funeral home from 9 to 11 am with a service to follow. Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park.
