Shirley Pawelski

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce Shirley Theresa Pawelski passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, at the age of 90, surrounded by her four children, in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband Henry Pawelski; loving parents Harry and Theresa Hoss, and brother Arthur; loving step-father Luman Hodgins and step-brothers Donny and Kenny; and dearest daughter-in-law Lynn. Shirley is survived by her loving children Thomas, Vincent, Bonnie (Michael) and Cheryl, as well as her cherished granddaughters Emily (Christopher), Chloe and Charlotte; and step-great-granddaughter Cammie. She is also survived by her dear sisters-in-law Joan and Mert, as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces. Shirley was an extremely loving, caring and humble woman, daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a joy-filled person bringing positivity and smiles to everyone she met. Shirley loved Jesus and her family most in this world. She lived her life with enormous grace and was a true model of humility and kindness. She also enjoyed her loyal and loving granddogs Katie and Willow and their sweet and happy personalities. Please join us in celebrating the life of Shirley Theresa Pawelski on April 14, 2025 at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish at 9am for visitation followed by a Catholic Mass at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Shirley's memory to Operation Smile, Milwaukee Rescue Mission or one of your favorite charities. Shirley will be dearly missed by many. Gentle Mother, peaceful dove, who taught us wisdom, who taught us love. Until we meet again, we love you Mother.
