Scott A. Schoemann was born to eternal life April 27th, 2026, surrounded by loved ones including his faithful K9 companion Stetson, in his home in Cudahy, WI after a tumultuous battle with cancer.
Scott is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shirley (Jungbluth) Schoemann, his two daughters Theresa (Jonathan) Misir, Cecilia (William) Deschler, his grandson Liam Deschler, sister Virginia Schoemann, sister-in-law Elaine Schoemann, brother-in-law Dennis (Carole) Jungbluth, sister-in-law Janice (Raymond) Berlin, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert & Marjorie Schoemann, brother Hubert “Butch” Schoemann, and in-laws John & Elizabeth Jungbluth.
Scott grew up primarily in Cudahy, WI where he attended Cudahy High School, class of 1977. He attended ITT Technical Institute and graduated with his associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology in 1992. Scott was primarily a service technician for computers and related technologies. He was an avid outdoorsman, gunsmith, HAM radio operator “N9TGW,” Free Mason, and jack of all trades. Scott could fix just about anything, ranging from computers and faucets to cars and home appliances. These skills were demonstrated to his children, with many summers spent on various home projects. His influence touched the lives of not only his immediate family but many neighbors and friends.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Antony Ruggeri and team, Aurora at Home Hospice, and Gobana at Z-Trip for the wonderful care and support he received throughout his battle. Additional thanks to Adam “Doc” & Barb Berman and Adam & Samantha Blazek for the countless resources provided to help get Scott to and from his many appointments. Theresa and Cecilia would like to thank their devoted mother (Shirley) for the constant in-home care she has provided for their father over the past 5 years.
Visitation and service for Scott will be held on Saturday May 16th, 2026 at the Molthen-Bell Funeral Home in South Milwaukee, WI at 700 Milwaukee Ave. Visitation will be held from 10 AM – 12 PM with service to start at 12 PM.
Family, friends, and neighbors are all welcome to pay their respects. Flowers are welcome, but donations such as single serve snacks or monetary pledges to the Aurora Cancer Center at the St. Luke's Medical Center are encouraged.
