Russell Swanson

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the age of 89. Preceded in death by his wife Carol and sisters Lorraine Last and Doris Kachigan. Loving dad to Jill (Ronald) Petrus, Lynn (Chris) Proeber, Kurt (Jackie) Swanson and Kay (Harry) Lum. Dear grandpa to Jeff, Matt, Erin, Emily and Zach. Great-grandpa to Winnie, Ainsley, Mackenzie and Strider. Also survived by his brother Lee Swanson and sister Sharon Nagy. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, November 18 from 4 to 7 PM and on Monday at St. Luke's United Church of Christ (2200 18th Ave, South Milwaukee) from 9 to 10:30 AM with a service to follow. Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Luke's United Church of Christ or to a veteran's organization of your choosing is appreciated.
