On Monday, December 7th of 2020, Ronald Popodi, a loving husband, father to 5 and grandfather of 4, passed into eternal life at the age of 85 after a short battle with COVID-19. Born January, 20th, 1935 in Cudahy WI. He married Lula May (Cooper) Popodi on September 13th, 1958. They raised one daughter, Ellen (Thomas Orr), and four sons: David (Deborah), Dean, Daniel and Douglas (Eda Voll). They enjoyed 4 grandchildren Caitlin, Kyle, Nathan and Kiersten. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Lula May (nee Cooper), his son, David, his parents, Martin and Bertha (nee Klier), and his brother Martin. Memorials to ALS Foundation or the American Cancer Society are appreciated. He lost David to ALS and Lula to colon cancer. Ronald Popodi's internment is scheduled for Wednesday December 23rd at 10:30 am. Due to COVID concerns and Dad's wishes, will have a short, outdoor, graveside service with immediate family only. The service, with Fr Carmelo attending, will be streamed live on Molthen-Bell's Facebook page (beginning at 10:30 am Wed. - https://www.facebook.com/molthenbell/?ref=page_internal). The video of the service will be posted for a few days afterward and can be accessed through either their Facebook page or their website https://www.molthenbell.com/ We are thankful for the opportunities to share memories and photos that this web site offers. In this time of pandemic it does allow a small recompense for the lack of a standard funeral
