Roger Peterson

Age 80, went to join his wife Karen in Heaven on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. He was born in Minnesota on May 14, 1941 to the late Helmer and Hannah (Holland) Peterson. He was united in marriage to Karen Mahlman on May 29, 1965 at St. John's Church in South Milwaukee. Roger served in the U.S Army from 1960 to 1962. After serving in the Army he was a welder for the Heil Company and later began driving for Yellow Cab Taxi in the 1980's. He then started "Peterson Taxi" and sold the company to a dear friend and was able to retire in 2011. After retiring he was able to spend more time with his grandchildren and rooting for his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers. Preceded in death by his siblings; Andrew, Phyllis, Donald, Glen, Ruby, Margaret, Judy and infant brother Robert. Dear father to Todd Peterson and Dawn (Matthew) Koker. Loving grandfather to Kirstie (Tony) Rost, Jordan, Cody, Sierra and Nicholas Peterson and Mariah, Tyler and Cameron Schmidt. Beloved great-grandfather to Natalie and Benjamin. Further survived by his brother John (Donna) Peterson of Macintosh, MN. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 29 from 10 AM to 12 PM with a service to follow.
