Roberta Schrader

Roberta L. Schrader "Dee" (nee Dielen) Passed away suddenly at her South Milwaukee home on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the age of 70. In 1952, Dee was born the second of nine children to the late Robert and Rita (Vey) Dielen of Milwaukee. In 1971 she married her high school sweetheart, Donnie and together they raised 3 children. Dee worked for the Milwaukee Brewers for just over ten years, but her greatest "job" was helping to raise her seven grandchildren whom she adored. For many years, Dee was an avid sewer, quilter, and crafter. The woman loved to put bling on the dullest of items. She could see beauty in nearly anything. Dee is survived by her loving husband of nearly 52 years, Donald Schrader; Lovingly remembered by children, Rebecca (Richard) Lintner, DeAnn (Paul) Slade, Douglas (Jennifer) Schrader; grandchildren, Kathryn (Tyler) Nipper, Taylor (Andy Bucholtz) Slade, Joseph (Stacy Soltis) Lintner, Lou Slade, Hannah Schrader, Elizabeth Schrader, and Devin Schrader. She is also survived by her siblings, Barb Dielen, Chris Mattice, John (Bev Wade) Dielen, Tom (Chris) Dielen, Lori (Phil) Basterash, Bobby (Debbie) Dielen, Billy (Daina) Dielen, and Sally Dielen, her brother and sisters in law, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at Molthen Bell Funeral Home on Monday, June 5 from 3 to 5 PM.
