Robert Procter

Robert C Procter Jr. passed away at home on April 27, 2023 with his family by his side at the age of 85. Bob was born on August 27, 1937 in Quincy, IL, the second of three children born to Robert Procter Sr and Lillian Morris Procter. The family moved to South Milwaukee, WI in 1940 and Bob graduated from South Milwaukee High School in the class of 1955. He then attended Ripon College and joined the ROTC. He was commissioned a First Lieutenant in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. It was there that he met the love of his life, Stefania Moroni on a blind date. When he returned from the service, Bob worked with his father at the Procter Insurance Agency in South Milwaukee taking over when his father passed away in 1981. Bob was a trusted and respected leader in the South Milwaukee community. Bob and Stefe married in January 1964 and stayed married for 59 years until Bob's passing. They had four children Alessandra (Robert) Kath; Robert Ill (Amiee); Christopher (Yvette); Phillip (Mary). From them, they had thirteen grandchildren - Sarah, Paul & Elizabeth; Jane, Gus, Catherine and Mae; James and Kyle; Elinor, Brett, Annie and Flip. Bob is survived by Stefe, the children & grandchildren, as well as his sister Annette and brother Phil. Bob treasured his family more than anything in the world and enjoyed as much time with them as he could. A Memorial Service will be held on July 3 at Divine Mercy Parish in South Milwaukee.
