Robert Niesing

Passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024 at the age of 92. Preceded in death by his wife Sharon J. Niesing, parents Gottlieb and Marion Niesing. Dear father to Rhonda Paul, Randall (Xiomara) Niesing, Jeffrey Niesing and Richard (Roberta) Niesing. Loving grandfather to Jason Pihl and Nicole Niesing. Further survived by his niece Annette Jenkins. Robert was very proud of his service in the U.S Army. He completed 3 tours from 1952 to 1958 and was awarded: Expert Badge with Rifleman Bar, United Nations Service Medal, Infantryman Badge, Korean Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal. In lieu of flowers, donations to VFW Post 1691, American Legion Post 27, National MS Society (for daughter-in-law Roberta) would be appreciated. Burial service for immediate family and significant others will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery, March 29 at 12:30 pm.
