Robert Houlehen

Robert Joseph Patrick Houlehen died on September 17, 2022 at the age of 87 of natural causes. Dear husband of Joan (Pritzlaff) for 66 years. Father of Erin. Preceded in death by his daughter Kathy Marie, brother Gerald, and brother-in-law Ronald Pritzlaff. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Robert graduated from Don Bosco High School in 1952. Following graduation, he was drafted into the Army and served with the Combat Engineers during the Korean War. After serving his country, he opened R & C Construction with his uncle. Later, worked for Tomaro Contractors Inc. for the next 32 years until they closed. Retirement wasn't for him, he needed to be with people. He got a job with ADP. Everyone was always happy to see him as he was delivering their paychecks. He was a diehard Chicago Bears fan and he loved a good joke. Visitation at Old Saint Mary (844 N. Broadway., Milwaukee) on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 9:00-10:00. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00. Memorials in Robert's name to the Riverwest Food Pantry (924 E. Clark St., Milwaukee) would be appreciated. Private interment at a later date.
