Robert Emmer

Emmer, Robert V. Passed away surrounded by loved ones on September 16, 2015, at the age of 85. Loving husband of Shirley (nee Richards). Beloved father to Sharla (Gilles) Fouquet, Suzette Emmer, Stacey (Marty) Henne, Cindy (Milan) Maksimovic and Curt (Holly) Emmer. Grandfather to Raymie (Bee) Grundhoefer, Xander Emmer, Jenny (Tom) Barbian, Mandie (Brad) Jeske, Marisa (Michael) and Marcus (Hannah) Maksimovic. Great-grandfather to Gavin Barbian, Camden and Easton Jeske. Further survived by his brother, Harvey (Alice), sister-in-law, Elaine Emmer, and a large loving family. He will be missed by his cats, Patches and Zoe and many more four-legged friends. Memorial visitation will be on Friday, September 25th, from 10:30 to 11:30 at St. Matthews Catholic Church with Mass at 11:30. Robert was a proud Army veteran of the Korean War and a retiree of Bucyrus Erie. As dad would say, "We'll keep the light on for you."
