Raymond C. Klieforth was peacefully taken by the loving hand of his wife Vera to his eternal resting place at the age of 93. As a marine in World War II, Raymond survived five major battles in the South Pacific where he received many accommodations, including a purple heart and the highest rank of Sergeant. After his service, he recuperated in Klamath Falls, Oregon and met the love of his life, Vera. After they married in 1945, they moved to Milwaukee where he worked for Schlitz for approximately forty years in various locations throughout the country. He was recognized for his outstanding work in the areas of Equal opportunity employment. Loving father of Karen (Bruno) Neveu, James (Diane), and Therese (Joe) Walters. Proud grandfather to Kristin (Brian), Kimberly (Norman) Hash, Rebecca Hughes, Jody Hughes, Alexandra (Michael) Milnes, Andrea Santucci, Anthony Santucci, Jessica Klieforth, and many great-grandchildren. Raymond is preceded in death by his son Charles and his daughter Mary Elizabeth. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, March 20, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church from 9:00AM-11:00AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at church at 11:00AM. Interment at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
