Randi L Slomski

Sep 9, 1984 — Jul 16, 2026

Milwaukee

Randi was born with a strong and beautiful personality that she carried throughout her entire life. She was very opinionated and didn’t care what others thought because she was always right. Randi had a big heart and loved her family and friends deeply.

Throughout all of Randi’s trials and tribulations in life, she always wanted to make sure her friends and family were taken care of first. She had a dark and dry sense of humor that was very much an acquired taste, but her friends admired it.

Randi’s heart was displayed throughout her life through her art and writing. Her loved ones always admired every piece of art she drew or painted. Randi, along with her family and friends, took a lot of pride in her military service. After high school, she joined the United States Army and served overseas. While in the Army, Randi requested to join the company deploying to the battlefield in Iraq. Although she returned being a changed person, everyone respected her highly for being a combat veteran.

Although Randi’s body left this earth way too soon, we will all find her soul surrounding us in different ways. As Randi watches over us, we can find our own ways to honor her life.
Randi leaves behind her mother, Jeannette Burge; father, Paul Slomski; step father, James Janka; siblings, Danaë Shelton (Jeremy Murillo), Brandon Shelton (Annalyse Johnson), Andrianna “Andi” (née Janka) Carberry (MichaelPaul), and James “Jamey” Janka; nephews, Landon and Carter Murillo, Declan Carberry, River Shelton, Rowan Shelton, and soon-to-be Oren Shelton; best friend and co-troublemaker, Jessica Derosier (Chloe and Max); longtime boyfriend, Matt Heller; and many other close friends and family members.
