Loving father of Lynda (Jim Padgett) von Asten, Jay (Helen) von Asten, Janet (Reagan) Moon, Tim (Sheree Gutierrez) von Asten, and Terry (Lori) von Asten. Proud grandfather of Shannon, Betsy, David, Robert, Jennifer, Nicholas, and great-grandfather of Joel, Lauden, Hazel, Terry, Tegan, and Jade. Dear brother of James (Carol) von Asten, Edward von Asten, the late John (Patricia) von Asten, and Gay (Arthur) White. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial service Friday, February 5, at 5:00PM at the funeral home chapel. Memorial gathering on Friday from 3:00PM until time of service. Interment private. Norm was a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 40 years. He also served in the Korean Conflict.
