It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Noah Allan “Soldier” Sweet on April 1, 2026. Noah (24) was born on December 26, 2001 to Scott Allan Sweet and the late Janet Mary (Grimm) Sweet. Noah is survived by his father Scott; his loving grandmother Mary Kathleen Grimm; Uncles Chris Grimm (Debralee Nelson) and Kurt Grimm; Aunts Jean (Grimm) Gorski (Chris Gorski) and Karen Grimm-Nilsen (Kurt Nilsen); cousins Courtney Galaszewski, Jake Galaszewski (Tori/Kahl), Max Gorski (Maggie), Taylor Gorski (Tamer), and Karlie Gorski. Noah is preceded in death by his mother Janet Mary (Grimm) Sweet. For Janet, Noah was her moon, her stars, her universe.
Noah grew up in South Milwaukee and attended the South Milwaukee public schools through high school. After high school, with grit, determination, and resilience, Noah forged his own path, eventually being hired and working for Amazon since 2021. Growing up, Noah loved spending time with his dad going to the Milwaukee air shows, NASCAR races, watching fireworks shows and spending time up north.
Noah was a free spirit, had big dreams and loved adventure. He had a passion for travel, airplanes and at one point had a dream of going to aviation school and becoming a pilot. He loved to drive to O’Hare International airport and sit and watch the airplanes arrive and depart. It truly held a special place in his heart. Noah also had a creative side, building an extensive lego model collection along with model cars.
Noah loved hanging out with his good friends and experiencing life. He enjoyed long walks, going for coffee, trying new foods, and being present with the moment. Going for long drives with the windows down going nowhere in particular made him feel alive. Traveling with his friends also brought great joy to Noah such as going to Alabama to see his favorite singer and New York where he saw a Broadway show. He also had a dream of someday going to Italy.
Above all, Noah loved his moments, his life and his family and friends.
Noah will be dearly missed by his family, Amazon coworkers and his many close friends. To most people the sky is the limit, to those who love aviation, the sky is home. We will miss you. Keep dreaming and soaring high Noah.
