Mary, commonly known to all as "Nana," was a retired caregiver who fully enjoyed all of her grandchildren, 24/7. She was an avid reader who also loved classic movies, crosswords, thrift stores, sports cars, and helping raise her beloved grandchildren. Nana was a selfless woman who witnessed nearly a century of the world's changes while walking a focused path of always caring for those around her. Her love leaves more behind than death can take away.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Jones, Sr., and three brothers, Mervin "Mugs" Schoonover, Melvin "Dutch" Dixon and Roger Dixon. The family will be holding a celebration of life on Jan. 16.
