Francis, Mary Elizabeth (nee Nicholson) South Milwaukee - Mary Elizabeth Francis (nee Nicholson) was welcomed to heaven on December 23rd, 2021 at the age of 68. Loving wife of Darrell, wonderful mother of Doug, Marybeth, and Jayne Ryczkowski (Brian), and best Nana to Madison, Brooke, Elizabeth & Emily Ryczkowski. Proud daughter of the late Doug and Liz Nicholson (nee Molthen). Sister to Lisa Holt (Karl) and Mark Nicholson (Jeanne). Blessed with many wonderful friends and neighbors who helped her during this time of need. A special thank you to Father Joe Simmons and hospice nurse Billie Jo for the wonderful care they gave her. Mary was a proud graduate of Mount Mary College with a degree in art. Mary's passion for photography brightened many lives and homes. Her greatest joy was being a mother and a special Nana to her four granddaughters. Mary's kind and free spirit will live on in her children and grandchildren. We will forever miss her beautiful smile and selfless heart. Our Angel of Hope is now watching over us. Everyday is a gift. If tears could build a stairway, And memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven And bring you home again. Private services were held.
