Marlene passed away on May 4, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children Mike (Liz), John (Debby), Steve, Ron Jr. (Cindy), Beth (Greg), David (Linda), Mark (Vicky), Jackie (Don), brother Bill, sister Jackie, and an abundance of grand children, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Slamka and siblings Robert and Laurine.
Marlene was born in 1934 in Madison, WI. She moved to Oak Creek, WI with her husband. She was a baker for many years at Oak Creek High School. Marlene continued her love of baking after retirement. She loved the wind off the lake on a summer day, the taste of a good old fashion and the beauty of her garden.
She loved sitting on her deck just listening to the birds and enjoying nature. Marlene always enjoyed being with family and would travel to be with them.
She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her.
