Marilyn L. Frank

Daughter of the late Edward and Erna Frank, passed away February 1, 2026 at the age of 91. Survived by dear cousin Ellen Pavlik and special best friend Dee Emanuelson. Further survived by other fond relatives and friends, who meant a great deal to her.

Marilyn graduated with honors from South Milwaukee High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bradley University, Peoria, IL, where she was the top graduating senior. She also earned a master’s degree in guidance and counseling from UW-Milwaukee and a master’s degree in teaching from UW-Whitewater.

After teaching for forty years, she retired from Oak Creek High School where she taught business education and was department chair. She always expressed her full enjoyment of teaching and always hoped that she helped make a difference in students’ developing job skills, as well as goals and aspirations.

Marilyn was an active member in business, civic, and professional organizations, such as Suburban Business and Professional Women, South Shore Noon Lions, and was on the Gift Trust Board of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in South Milwaukee. She received various honors and awards: Wisconsin Outstanding Business Educator, Certificates of appreciation for volunteering, Who’s Who in America among Business and Professional Women, to mention a few.

She enjoyed travel, theater and the symphony, sports, especially golf, and enjoyed many activities with friends.

In state Wednesday, February 11th from 10-11 AM at Molthen-Bell Funeral Home, 700 Milwaukee Ave, South Milwaukee. Service to follow at 11 AM. Entombment Forest Hill Memorial Park.
