Marguerite E. Kube (nee Gutowski) left the comfort of home to be reunited with the love of her life, our dad, Don Sr. on November 18, 2021. Born on May 24, 1930 the fourth daughter of Julius & Juliana Gutowski. Survived by her fifth sister, Barbara (the late Don) Reed and brother-in-law, James (Dorothy) Kube. Proud mother of her family circle always surrounded by love; Kathleen (Frank) Romaine, Don Jr-her loyal caregiver and friend, Matthew (Janet) Kube, and Christine (Roger) Tarman. She is reunited with her life long friend, Lorraine (Edward) Judziewicz. She was welcomed into heaven by her sisters, Josephine, Bernadine, and Dorothy. So many stories and so much laughter.
Mom was an incredible woman who made us laugh with the latest dances that she saw on Johnny Carson. Our favorites were the stories of her and sister Dorothy's years of growing up on the south side of Milwaukee. The special birthday cakes she made and decorated for us. A legal secretary, book keeper, line dancer, crocheter, made the best paczkis, dumplings, fireman stew, potato salad, loved adult coloring, Neil Diamond, Benson's Kringles in Racine, and her chocolate lab, Mollie.
Long time member of Nativity of the Lord (formerly St. Frederick's) Catholic Church in Cudahy.
A very special thank you to Jack A. Tertadian MD, Nurse Care Mgr., Nikki; and social worker, Emily. All of Aurora Health. Thank you to the staff of VITAS Hospice Services for their compassion and care.
According to our mom's wishes private services are being held. She will be laid to rest privately at Forest Home Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Foundation for Religious Retirement (3221 S. Lake Dr., St. Francis) or VITAS Hospice (8300 Beloit Rd., West Allis) in Marguerite's name are appreciated.
