Mae was a passionate genealogist, spending countless hours tracing her family's roots and stories, which she generously shared with those around her. Knitting was another of her great loves; it was said that she could knit as effortlessly as breathing, creating beautiful pieces for friends and family that will be treasured for generations.
Mae's passion for gardening was well-known in her neighborhood. Each year, she meticulously planted rows of red geraniums and white petunias, crafting a living tapestry that brought joy to all who passed by her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Erna Rohlinger, and her beloved husband, Joe Sazama. Mae now leaves behind her son, Carl, who carries forward her legacy of love, intellect, and kindness.
