Lynn Marie Blavat, born in Milwaukee on January 15th 1949 to Jim and Beverly O'Neill, passed away on September 26th, 2025 at the age of 76. She was the loving wife to Philip Blavat for 54 years and devoted mother to Brad and Anne. She was preceded in death by her son, Luke.
She is also survived by siblings Diane O'Neill, Patrick (Sue) O'Neill, Tim (Denise) O'Neill, Joan O'Neill, Brian (Sandy) O'Neill and Maureen (Paul) Kobza. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Despite the significant challenges she faced with her heart transplant and ongoing health issues, she consistently showed incredible strength and resilience; never complaining, while battling through every up and down with remarkable courage. She deeply appreciated the miraculous gift of her new heart, which she received in 2001.
When Lynn wasn't birdwatching, reading, or enjoying British mysteries on Britbox she loved tending to her desert landscape in Scottsdale during the winter, along with her many plants and flowers in Waukesha in the summertime. Her biggest love, however, was for her children, Brad and Anne, whom she doted on and would do anything for. She and her husband Phil were "kindred spirits" and as close as any couple could be.
Her quick wit, warm gentle nature, strength and beauty will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
