Lola Del Rosso

Lola Jean Del Rosso (nee Jensen) of Bayside, formerly of South Milwaukee, died peacefully February 2, 2025. She was 91 years old. Preceded in death by her dear husband of 63 years, Mario (Mike), daughter Darlene, and her parents Raymond and Dorothy Jensen. Survived by her daughter Diana (David Felland), son in law Steve Calhoun (Shyla) and her beloved grandchildren: Eric, Nicholas (Arielle Andreano), Matthew and Michael Felland, Patrick and Nora Calhoun, Hannah and Ben Lautenschlaeger. Her dear siblings Joanne Stark and Robert Jensen also survive her. A graduate of Whitewater, Jean taught in the South Milwaukee schools for 25 years, and volunteered there for another 20 years. She loved teaching, outings with her many friends, travels in retirement, word games, and watching the birds. We celebrate a long life well-lived with visitation Friday, February 28, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 1314 Rawson Ave, South Milwaukee, followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to South Milwaukee School Retirees' Scholarship fund, or St. Mark's Church appreciated.
