Linda Fote

Linda M. Fote (nee Wetzel) Of Cudahy, WI, entered into Eternal Life on Wed., Oct. 21, 2020 at the age of 72, showing grace and dignity throughout her 12-year struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Loving wife of Joseph N. "Joe" Fote for a happy 54 years. Beloved mother of Maria Hammerer, Dawn Barnett and Joseph (Lori) Fote, Jr. Proud grandma of Coty, Brady, Stephanie, Jacob, Dylan, Darby, and Michael. She is further survived by siblings Robert (Deanna) Wetzel, Deborah (Tom) Satter, Geno Wetzel, Tammy Lust, Vicki DuPlessis, Karl (Lois) Anderson and John Anderson; nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Lorretta (nee Lubarsky) and stepmother Betty (nee Stanley); sister, Lorretta (Steve) Milyanovich and brothers-in-law, John DuPlessis, Salvatore Fote and Stephen Fote. In 1966, Linda graduated from East Troy High School and married the love of her life. She and Joe started a family and she became a devoted wife and mother. She was faithful to her husband, family and friends. She was a hard worker throughout her life and ultimately pursued an Associate degree in her 40's. She graduated with honors at the top of her class. She worked as an Accountant at Prime Manufacturing in Oak Creek. Earlier in her career, she worked at Milwaukee Springs and GE Hotpoint and was a proud union steward. She always served her community and volunteered for church when her children were young. Linda loved music and dancing. She loved spoiling her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and often brought candy when she visited. Linda loved her dog, Danny. A Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 from 10:00AM until the Time of the 11:00AM Mass of Christian Burial at Nativity of the Lord, 4611 S. Kirkwood Ave. Cudahy. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Catholic Cemetery.
