Laverne Peterson

April 14, 1935 — January 11, 2025

LaVerne "Pete" Peterson passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 89. Beloved father of Pamela (Bob) Gleason, Penny (Tim) Farrell, and Perry (Jeanette Grischow) Peterson; stepdaughters Dawn Nolan and Dina (Paul) Sustachek. Loving grandfather to Tim Farrell, BJ (Kim) Gleason, Ali (Galen) Burke, Patrick Peterson, Kashian Peterson, Dustin Hoppe, Jesse (Haylee) Sustachek, Austin (Carly) Sustachek and Skylar (Edward) Vahradian and 11 great grandchildren; loving brother of Gerald (Arlene) Peterson and Shirley Skowronski. Dear friend of Delores Martin. Further survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends and other relatives. Pete was preceded in death by his first wife Patsy (nee Guckenberger) and his second wife Judy (nee Bosetti) as well as his parents Edmund and Anna Peterson. Pete was a proud forty-year employee of Bucyrus Erie Company. Memorial Service and celebration of life on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 11am to 2pm at Joe's K Ranch, 4840 S. Whitnall Ave, Cudahy, WI. Brief service at 11:30 am followed by a celebration of life.
