Laury Saxler

Laury Jo Saxler (nee Venus) 1947-2024 Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and teacher, Laury was welcomed to Eternal Life on August 24, 2024. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Survived by husband of over 50 years, William "Bill" Saxler, children Adam (Olya Mass) Saxler, Amy (Eric) Simpson, Julie Venus, Joseph Saxler, grandchildren Owen, Maya, Alexander "Sasha" and Anna "Anya", sister Nadine (Dennis) Cimbalnik, and many other loving family members and friends. Preceded in death by brother Randolph "Randy" Venus. If you would like, donations in her name can be made to the charity of your choice or to Zion Lutheran Church and School (3600 S Chicago Ave South Milwaukee WI 53172) where Laury impacted many students over her teaching career. Respecting her wishes, a small private service for the immediate family was held.
