He left an everlasting legacy for children Twyla Niedfeldt, Sondra (Greg) Wickersheim, Lorene (Joel) Halvorson and Ken Jr (Karen) Patnode. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great
grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews to carry on the Patnode honorable family tradition.
There are also numerous "adopted" families that have joined our circle of love and fellowship including those at the Franciscan Gardens, South Milwaukee United Methodist Church, Bucyrus
Erie and Custom Grown Greenhouse, to name a few that he loved dearly. We are so thankful you all have been part of his life.
Anyone that knew Ken were always ready to hear his stories of life, work and adventures. Always one to not sit still, his life was full of activities such as bowling, WII bowling,
roller-skating, fishing, gardening, traveling and many card games. This life also included numerous accomplishments such as President of the Organic Growers of
WI, Docent of the museum of Bucyrus Erie, throwing out the first pitch at the Milwaukee Milkmen games at his 95th, 100th and 101st birthdays, receiving an honorary diploma from
Arkansaw/Durand HS.
The Patnode family would like to thank the employees at the Franciscan Gardens and Villa and St Croix that took exceptional care of Ken during this chapter of his life. God bless you all and keep up the good work!
