Kathy Iverson

February 10, 1950 — December 19, 2020

Mrs. Kathy M. Iverson of Franksville, WI, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 19th, 2020 at age 70. Kathy was born on February 10, 1950, to James and Clarice Clancy. She grew up in Sisseton, SD, the second eldest of nine children. It was in Sisseton that Kathy also met her soulmate, Robert Iverson. Their amazing love story would span over five decades and 51 years of marriage. Along with being a loving wife, Kathy's greatest joy in life was being a mother to her two children, Lisa and Darin, and a grandmother to her three grandsons, Zachary, Logan and Ian. Kathy had a deep love and compassion for people. This led her to a career in the medical field where she held a number of positions, including Nurse's Aide, Medical Secretary and Medical Assistant. She especially loved the many years that she worked in a senior care facility, where she was a beacon of light to residents and their families. Loving the Lord with all of her heart, Kathy was a beautiful example of faith, strength, courage and determination, even as she faced adversity. Her life was a living example of 1 Corinthians 13:4-5, "Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs." Kathy's legacy of faith and love will continue to speak into the generations that follow. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Robert, daughter Lisa (Patrick) Riley, son Darin (Jodie), grandsons Zachary, Logan and Ian Riley, siblings James (Angie) Clancy, Gregory (Susan) Clancy, Jeffrey Clancy, Tamra Clancy, James (Lonnie) Clancy and countless extended family members and friends who love her dearly. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents James Clancy and Clarice Enquist, siblings Sherry Differding, Jon Clancy and Donn Clancy, nephews Ryan Clancy and Stephen Differding and three grand babies. A public visitation will be held at Molten-Bell Funeral Home on Saturday, January 9th from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM. Following the visitation a private service will be held for family members only, due to COVID-19 restrictions. Kathy will be interred at The Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
