Karen Piontek

Born to Eternal Life on January 25, 2023 at the age of 81. Preceded in death by her husband Larry, parents Melvin and Ruth and brother Dennis. Loving mother to Wayne (Sue) Piontek, Deb (Matt) Peplinski, Gary (Amy) Piontek, Kristen (Kent) Treml and Dan (Rhianna) Piontek. Dear grandma to Brad (Antonia), Nate, Andy, Asha (Melissa), Mallory (Canyon), Holly (Adam), Steven, Anthony, Evan, Mason and Kinsley. Beloved great-grandmother to 7 great-grandchildren. Sister to Dale, Scott and Pat. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial visitation on February 4 at Southbrook Church (11010 W St Martins Rd, Franklin) from 10 am to 12 pm with a funeral service at noon. Karen was a lifetime avid bowler. She worked at the South Shore YMCA and was known as "Karen from the Y". She lived for her family until the end and will be deeply missed.
