Mom was born in 1936 to Carl and Cora Berg in McIntosh, Minnesota, and the fourth of eight kids. After marrying our dad in 1955, they settled in South Milwaukee, Wisc. where they raised six kids. Mom loved going for drives, long walks, rummaging, playing cards on a Saturday night, bingo and going to movies, camping, and also her ice cream. She loved doing cryptoquips and word searches and her favorite animal was horses. She also was a huge collector of Hummels. She loved singing along to her favorite song. She never had a bad word to say about anybody. Her greatest attributes were her wit and sense of humor. She never complained no matter how she was feeling, saying "There's always someone worse off than me." But most of all, she loved and cherished her grandkids and great grandkids.
