John Wilk

Wilk, John of South Milwaukee passed away March 5, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Rita A. (nee Behlmer). Dear father of Mary Ann (Robert) Mergener, Dr. Peter (Julie), John (Kathy), Jerry (Patty), and Father Brian Wilk. Proud grandfather of Sharon, Steven, Sarah, Matthew, Erin, Molly, Valerie, John and 6 great-granddaughters. Fond brother of the late Irene Wroblewski, Angeline Wilk, and the late George Wilk. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday March 11 at 11:00 A.M. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church 800 Marquette Ave. South Milwaukee. Father Brian Wilk and Father Robert Betz con-celebrating. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. In state at the church only 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass. Knights of Columbus Council 1709 ritual Friday 10:45 A.M.. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation appreciated. John was employed at the Ladish Co. for 43 years, retiring as Chief Tool Engineer in 1988. Thanks to the staff of Francis House for their kind and loving care of John.
