He was a dedicated husband, father, brother and friend to many. John loved his family and was always a happy, go-lucky life of the party that was always willing to help others and be available when needed. Golfing was a frequent past time for him in Crivitz, where he loved to spend time in their home on Lake Noquebay. Hours were spent in the boat fishing and catching his favorite choice of fish; blue gills. John loved to be on the water, and in his younger days was the one to teach everyone how to water ski. Going out for breakfast every morning was the highlight of his day, and his Friday night fish-fry was the highlight of his Friday evenings with the love of his life Joy for date night. John spent years in his advertising career with L.M. Berry and Company, a coast-to-coast publisher of the Yellow Pages. He loved and excelled in his work ¬and received much recognition and awards for his quotas met while he traveled on the road; leaving home on Sunday night and coming home on Friday nights. John taught his children to be strong, confident, responsible and self-sufficient in many ways. Beloved husband of Joy (nee Ottman). Loving father of Jae (the late Robin) Hamlin, Jean (Adrian) Marsden, and James (Tamra) Sahagian. Proud grandfather of Daniel Sahagian, Nicholas Sahagian, Shelby (Tyler) Bowe, and Elyssa Marsden. Brother of Martin (the late Gloria) Sahagian and Margaret (the late Richard) Schroeder.
