John Roets

John "Jack" R. Roets passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 17, 2018 at the age of 88 years. He is reunited in love with his beloved wife, LaVerne. Wonderful father of Timothy (Steffanie), Linda (Tim) Flynn, and Cheryl (Daniel) Carrion. Proud grandfather of Dylan, PJ, Jackson Sanders, Isabel Sanders, Jack Flynn, Sarah Flynn, Amanda (Andrew) Wolff, Benjamin (Alyssa) Carrion, and Elisabeth (Cheyenne) Klopotowski. Great-grandfather of James, Sawyer, Emma, Hailey, Wyatt, and Emmett. Preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Florence; and his sister, Patricia. Further survived by his cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends-old and new. Memorial service will be held at Molthen-Bell Funeral Home on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00AM. Visitation on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:00AM-11:00AM. Inurnment at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery. John proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. His faith was important to him. He was active in his church and was a Third Degree Knight in the Knights-of-Columbus. He had a passion for woodworking, building clocks, and during the holidays would join the South Milwaukee Senior Center and be an Elf at the local schools. His zest for life will be greatly missed.
