John Eugene Loveall, resident of Kenosha, formerly a long-time resident of South Milwaukee, was born October 13, 1949 and died on April 20, 2025 from liver failure. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joan (nee Davis) Loveall, a son Jason Allen Loveall, and 1 grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents, Jack Loveall and Mamie (nee Magestro) Ball and his brother Lee Loveall. Further survived by cousins, friends, nieces and nephews and many brothers and sisters-in-law who all considered him an integral part of their family for all the love and help he willingly gave the last 50 years.
John attended South Milwaukee High School, enlisted in the Army and was in Vietnam in 1969-1970, where he was awarded the Bronze Star, then worked a while for his uncle as a private detective in Chicago. He later worked for Army Intelligence and served on protective duty for Pope John Paul II when he visited Chicago in 1979. He moved back to South Milwaukee after he married Joan in 1978 and worked for several companies as an insurance adjuster-investigator and manager for the rest of his career. He received his bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University in 1991. He also served in the 440th Air Force Reserve at Mitchell Field for many years.
John was a scuba diver in his younger days, bowled, played golf, loved to cook for everybody, liked cruising with the in-laws and for an old guy was tech savvy. He will be dearly missed.
