Joe 'Poncho' Sindric passed peacefully into Eternal Life on November 11, 2021 at the age of 94. Loving husband of Lois Sindric (nee Levandosky). Proud father of Joseph and David. Beloved grandfather to Jessica (Todd) Mathias and Kerry Daly. Also survived by four great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents, Beno and Anna Sindric, brother Simon, sister Kathryn, and nephews Walter and Robert. Joe was born in Bajmok, Yugoslavia and at the age of ten traveled with his father, mother and siblings to this country. He grew up in Cudahy and attended Cudahy High School. Joe was employed at Wisconsin Electric Company as a rigger and after he paved the way, his son Joseph and granddaughter Kerry followed in his footsteps. Joe enjoyed bowling, cribbage, golf, horseshoes and fishing for perch under Hoan Bridge with his brother Simon. He was known for his sausage making abilities and always carried garlic in his pocket. In his later years, he enjoyed time in his garden and visits with family.
Visitation will be held at the Molthen Bell Funeral Home in South Milwaukee (700 Milwaukee Ave, South Milwaukee, WI 53172), on Friday, November 19th from 11:00am-1:00pm. Service to follow at 1:00pm. Interment Holy Sepulcher.
