Jeffrey Wojnowski

July 30, 1955 — October 12, 2025

Jeff "Wedge" Wojnowski, age 70, Passed away on October 12, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 17 years, Mary (nee Urban), his sons David "DJ" and Micah, his siblings: Joey (the late Diane "Dee Dee"), Ronnie, and Susie (Mark) Jahn, sisters-in-laws: Susan (the late George) Nelson, Peggy (Werner) Dietrich. Brothers in-law: Leon (Jody, the late Barb) Urban, Robert (Judy) Urban, Greg Urban, Dick (late Cindy) Urban, Alan (Mary Fugate and the late Dawn) Urban. Many nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Joseph and Bernice (nee Knepler) Wojnowski, sister: Sharon LaMore, sisters in law: Diane Wojnowski, Dawn, Cindy and Barb Urban. Brothers in law: George Nelson, Raymond Urban, parents in law: Leon and Lucille Urban. Jeff's special joy in life was spending time with his wife, sons and family. Whether it was family gatherings, sporting events or just watching TV together, Jeff treasured the time he spent with his loved ones. Retired from Rusell Metals, Jeff's passion in life (besides his wife and sons) was sports. In his younger days he loved baseball and softball and played many tournaments. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing in leagues and tournaments. He was a basketball referee for many years for South Milwaukee Park and Rec. Jeff especially loved the Brewers and the Packers. Jeff was excited by the Brewers winning season this year. He enjoyed watching the games with family, snacks and a cold beer. A celebration of life to honor Jeff will be held on Saturday, November 1 ^st from 1pm to 5pm at Root River Lanes, 7220 W. Rawson Ave, Franklin, WI. To honor Jeff's love for sports we encourage you to wear your favorite sports team jersey.
