Jeffrey Arnold

Jeffery Billman Arnold of South Milwaukee, WI made it to the great golf course in the sky on Sunday November 18th, 2018. Born on May 18th, 1949 in Sullivan, Indiana, he was the best behaved and most favorite son of Kermit and Francis (Billman) Arnold. His life-long love of golf started at age 12 and he became a par golfer in high school. He graduated from Indiana State University with a bachelor's degree in health education. It was there that he met and married Deborah Dart. They enjoyed 47 years together and duked it out through 12 presidential elections. Jeff worked for Milwaukee Public Schools for 31 years. During that time, he taught health education and math at Bell Middle School and, later, Bay View High School. He refereed high school football and basketball for 36 years. Refereeing for the WIAA State High School Football Tournament at Camp Randall Stadium in 1996 was an especially proud moment for him and his crew. After retirement, his days were filled with golf, video poker, trips to Las Vegas with his brother Todd, computer troubleshooting, and sneaking candy to his beloved granddaughter. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Kermit, mother, Francis, and step-mother Vera. He is survived by his wife Debbie, his sons Jason (Julie) and Jon (Marta), granddaughter Amelia, brothers Andy and Todd, several cousins, nieces and nephew. We will miss his fart jokes, plaid shirts, and fierce love for his family. A gathering to celebrate Jeff's life will be held on December 6th from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Pat's Oak Manor, 1804 15th Ave, South Milwaukee, WI 53172
