James Knurowski

With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of James Knurowski on July 9, 2026 at the age of 64.

Jim had a heart as big as his spirit. He was the rock and unwavering support of our family, always the first to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, or simply be there when someone needed him. His kindness, generosity, and strength touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

He found joy in creating with his hands and expressing himself through woodworking and painting. Whether he was building something beautiful or bringing a canvas to life, his creativity reflected the warmth and care he put into everything he did.

One of his greatest joys was bringing people together. He loved hosting gatherings filled with family, friends, laughter, great food, and unforgettable memories. His home was always a welcoming place where everyone felt like family.

A devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers, Jim proudly cheered on his team through every season. Game days were more than football—they were another reason to gather with the people he loved most.

Above all, Jim will be remembered for his generous heart, his infectious spirit, and the love he gave so freely. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the countless memories he leaves behind and the lasting impact he made on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Loving husband to Anne for 38 years, dear father to Joshua, beloved son to Ruth and the late Anthony. He is survived by his sisters; Diane Koepsel, Michelle (Burt) Beegle-Knurowski, Kim Hauke and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, July 16 from 10 am to 12 pm with a service at noon. Interment to follow Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
