January 17th, 1951 – August 6th, 2025. It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Hal Mazzoni of South Milwaukee, a talented self-taught guitarist, passionate gardener, and skilled handyman, who left us on August 6th at the age of 74. Born to Frank and Georgia (Pasonault) Mazzoni in Devil's Lake, North Dakota, Hal had a soul deeply tuned to rhythm, beauty, and purpose. A lifelong lover of music, he could often be found with a guitar in his hands, sharing his talent through every note. Whether playing on stage or strumming in the backyard, his music brought joy to those lucky enough to listen. When not creating music, Hal could be found caring for his garden. With a natural green thumb, he nurtured flowers, plants, and friendships with equal care. His garden was more than a plot of land—it was a place to gather, celebrate, and enjoy bonfires. He was a hard worker from a young age, and eventually retired from his career at Harley Davidson. As the family MacGyver, Hal was the one everyone turned to when something needed fixing. From leaky faucets to broken fences, he could find a way to make things work again. He was generous with his time, making sure to support his family any way he could. Above all, Hal will be remembered for his kind heart and quiet strength he brought to every part of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan Mazzoni and granddaughter Nicole Mazzoni. Loving father to Sharon (John Riggins) Mazzoni, Kurt (Chris) Mazzoni, Craig Mazzoni, and Jason (Debby) Mazzoni. Beloved Bapa to Robin (Mike), Kurstin, Brooke (Kyle), Ashley, Kurtis, Jessie, Sarah, Addison, Brayden, and Great-Bapa to Spencer, Elyjah, Kylie, Taylor, Bennett and Lorelai. Brother to the late Steve (Cindy) Mazzoni, Kathy Mazzoni, Lori (Rich) Janusiak, the late Terry Mazzoni and the late Tim Mazzoni. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at the funeral home on August 15th. Visitation 4 to 6 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6PM. Everyone is welcomed to join the family to continue the celebration of his life at the Pulaski Inn which is located at 3900 E. Pulaski Ave 53110 in Cudahy.
